Module 4 - IESOL C1 Writing Test

In Module 4 of the course you'll learn everything about the Writing component of the test.

The Writing test consists of two tasks - Part 1 is a shorter task of 150-200 words. The task requires from you rather a formal writing piece, usually a letter, a report or an article.

Part 2 requires writing a longer text of 250-300 words. Most frequently it is an essay or a discursive composition. Among other less frequent options, there may be a letter.

Both writing tasks are assessed by 4 criteria: task fulfillment, range and accuracy of grammar, range and accuracy of vocabulary and organization.
